A great privilege and some amazing stories

This morning I attended an event at Hove Cricket Ground which was a chance for Police Officers and some of the organisations they have worked with in recent months such as the RNLI and Lloyd Bank to celebrate the good work that all have carried out. It was good news to meet Frank Le Duc from Brighton and Hove News and Aidan Barlow from Brighton Argus newspaper. The stories from a range of the prize winners are described on this website. It was a fantastic morning and I can only hope that the police and their colleagues will be well rewarded for their incredibly hard work that saved a number of lives and protected many hundreds of people in our city.
