It is very clear that a number of the high profile Vote Leave people want to see the Deal before they will accept it. We are told that ERG will be meeting soon and apparently the Prime Minister wants Parliament to agree to the Deal on 30th December. This is clearly deeply concerned given that we were promised the deal more than a year ago. In addition those of us who wanted us to remain in the EU also want to know what the Deal includes. That said the Government is big enough to adopt the the Deal without the Labour or SNP MPs. So in the meantime let us have a great Christmas and in due course we will be able to celebrate the beginning of 2021. In the meantime I am really pleased that we will get a Deal. I know Jon Worth very well as he used to be based in Brighton and indeed Antony Carpen who has also been Brighton based so I support their views that Michel Barnier deserves our thanks. So Michel I hope you have a great Christmas.
