This latest news is another reminder of how poorly protected these people are in the area that they live. As our Government sets out its latest Queens Speech with a series of new Bills let us hope that their Foreign Policies will include some proposals for trying to bring Peace to Palestine and Israel along with other settings such as Yemen, Syria and Afghanistan. I hope that Dominic Raab is aware of this issue and that he has some actions intended to help end these conflicts and because there is little reason not to work closely with the Foreign team in other political parties that he will be willing to do so. The All Party Parliamentary Group for Foreign Affairs is Chaired by Imran Ahmad Khan who is also a Conservative but the Vice Chairs are Sarah Champion from Labour and Lisa Cameron from the SNP. There are no Sussex MPs in the Committee but several of our local MPs do have specific concerns about certain areas of the world. Henry Smith and Nusrat Ghani along with Peter Bottomley and Lloyd Russell-Moyle do speak regularly on certain themes. Let us hope that they will all be raising concerns for the next period of the Government to act in a strong way.
