So thank goodness the 80% support from Labour Party members has finally persuaded the Unite Trade Union to endorse a Proportional Representation approach for the future. The information is available here. Let us hope that in the very near future the Labour Party will stand up and call for PR to be the future for our nation. I live in Sussex and it is very disturbing that a 50% election support for the Conservative Party gives them 81.25% of the MPs. Even when Eastbourne voted for a Liberal Democratic MP there was still 75% of the MPs that were members of the Conservative Party. We now need to change this as a matter of high priority.
