On Saturday in Lewes there is a fantastic event taking place from 10am to 5.30pm at the Lewes Town Hall. It is described as Community Wealth Building : A Day of Participative Discussion and it is being organised by the Lewes Constituency for Labour. The information is available here and it provides an initial session by Neil McInroy entitled Community Wealth Building and the final session is How can Councils in the South East make Community Wealth Building work? which is being presented by Labour leaders from Crawley, Lewes and Worthing. In between those two elements there are several Workshops that include Community Wealth Building sustainable and Food Banks to Food Co-operatives. The event looks very exciting.
