Purple and Platinum Jubilee from our City

Today is the last day of the Platinum Jubilee Weekend to celebrate the 70 years of our Queen. I spotted this image on LinkedIn from a piece by Michael Bedingfield who is the Chairman of the Royal Pavilions and Museums Trust here in Brighton and Hove. He wrote “To mark the Platinum Jubilee weekend, Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust is lighting the Royal Pavilion in purple and platinum. Congratulations to Her Majesty!” Of course the other image was last night from the Queen. It is lovely to be able to celebrate this with so many of my friends and relatives. Even people who I know who are not supporters of her role have in most cases been still willing to endorse her for much of what she has done over the 70 years.

Today is also the Pentecost Sunday so it is a great day for many of my friends and myself as well as a nice day for the Queen to also celebrate Pentecost during her events.
