On Monday this week a vote took place in the Conservative Party and while 211 MPs were willing to support Boris Johnson as their Prime Minister, 148 felt he must stop being their Prime Minister. The following day Ed Davey who is the leader of the Liberal Democrat Part set out this Early Day Motion which is listed below. Along with Ed 10 other Liberal Democrat MPs endorsed the EDM and the following day the other two Liberal Democrat MPs endorsed it. On Thursday Caroline Lucas who is my Brighton Pavilion MP for the Green Party and Stephen Farry who is the North Down MP for the Alliance Party both endorsed the EDM. So the question is now how many other MPs will sign this EDM?

No confidence in the Prime Minister

That this House has no confidence in the Prime Minister because he has broken the covid-19 lockdown laws that his Government introduced, has presided over a culture of serial rule-breaking in Downing Street, has undermined standards in public life, and has failed to take action to support millions of families in the midst of a cost of living emergency.
