Nusrat Ghani asked a very interesting question

Yesterday Nusrat Ghani who is the MP for Wealden asked this question in part of the Business of the House session. It is interesting because although I have not spotted a response from Nusrat criticising the Prime Minister so far but as her twitter makes clear, she is the Vice Chair of the 1922 Committee so perhaps she has to be more careful although I know that other 1922 Committee people have been far clearer in the past. Anyway here is her question yesterday and the rather inadequate response from Mark Spencer.

Nusrat Ghani: As the Leader of the House continues to have confidence in the Prime Minister, my question requires a simple answer. Does he agree with the Prime Minister that, if a complaint is raised against a Member of Parliament that is so grave it triggers an investigation, that Member of Parliament or Minister should not be promoted or continue on the Front Bench? My question is simple: does he agree with the Prime Minister?

Mark Spencer: I am not sure how that question is relevant to the business of the House in any way, shape or form. If my hon. Friend wants to apply for an Adjournment debate on any matter, she is welcome to do so.
