Government website still states Pincher is Deputy Whip

These two images were picked up this morning from the Government website which can be seen here under the headline of All ministers and senior officials on GOV.UK. The first one which is here lists the various aspects that Rt Hon Christopher Pincher MP has done in the past and it makes it clear that he was appointed as the Deputy Chief Whip of the Party on the 8th February 2022 and there is no indication that his role has ended. This is despite the fact that we have been informed in the news that he resigned on the 30th of June because of his getting drunk. Since that experience there has also been his “groping claims”. This action and the personal knowledge of his behaviour led Boris Johnson to resign on the 6th of July although of course Boris Johnson is still our Prime Minister, even though many of us would want him to have been replaced immediately. The other page relates to Rt Hon Michael Gove MP who was the Secretary for Levelling Up from the 15th September 2021 until the 6th July when he challenged Boris Johnson and he was sacked by Boris Johnson and removed from that role immediately. His role is now being dealt by Neil O’Brien who became the MP for Harborough in 2017. He was the Under Secretary of Levelling Up since 19th of September 2021 and he is now in charge of the Department.
