Some very good Brexit comments from people I respect

Earlier this evening I spotted a tweet from my friend Jane Gould who I very much respect. She was focusing on the comment by Chris Daw who I also agree with. This was the tweet that Jane has shared

I am sick of hearing that Brexit was the “will of the British people” when it was actually the result of a massive fraud.

And this is another one that Chris Draw has published earlier today

Go on then you happy Brexiteers! Name one of the shiny things Boris and Nigel promised you that has actually worked out for you?

Back in early June I signed up this petition which is written by a chap called Oliver Romain. At that time it had 2,000 signatures and now it has more than doubled. However it needs to be increased so that the Government would be obliged to respond to it. A significant number of people are posting it on twitter and we need to promote it to double it and a bit more to get the 10,000 signatures. The Petition which explains below can be obtained from here.

Apply to Join the European Union (EU)

We want the Government to start the process of seeking to rejoin the EU. Only 2% of the public think that Brexit has gone ‘very well’ and only 15% ‘fairly well’ since the end of the transition period*.

We believe the majority of the British public no longer supports Brexit, in addition to Scotland and Northern Ireland voting against leaving the EU in the 2016 referendum. It’s time to put a stop to this disastrous experiment and seek to return to the EU as full members.
