How could we achieve a better Government arrangement

As we wait for the new Conservative Prime Minister to be selected is it possible that in our Nation a more radical arrangement could be achieved. Our Summer has been focused on which of the two candidates will get selected, even though the decision has been taken by the relatively small number of Conservative party members. While the two candidates have travelled around the UK and made modest promises this is not going to change the way that the Government emerges. Some of us will be very happy with a Conservative upgrade or extension. However many of us would prefer this new leadership to lead to a General Election well before December 2024. However if we do see a new General Election the prospect of a Conservative Government or a Labour Government are the most likely options. If either of them win the General Election they may require other political groups to assist them. However these modest differences will not radically change the way in which our Nation will be managed. Some of our Councils have benefitted from groups of Councillors who are Liberal Democrat or Greens or even Independents along with the majority of Conservative of Labour groups. Indeed there were even one or two that have been impacted by other political groups such as UKIP and of course in Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland there are national and regional groups that have impacted those areas and indeed provided some very positive aspects as well as some inevitable challenges. It would be fantastic if we could move towards a much more creative approach than we currently have in the UK Government as we head towards the next General Election.
