A very inadequate answer to the Father of the House

Many of us may not be aware of challenges that are impacting the area near Parliament so when Peter Bottomley asked a question about Westminster Bridge the theme of the question can sound very concerning. However what was much more disturbing was the response he received from a Government Minister who is Chris Philp who works for the Home Office and is responsible for Suella Braverman. I have read far too many poor responses in the past but this is yet another one that is very disturbing. What is clear is how can we as voters who only get to vote for our local MPs, can we challenge the Government for this inadequacy? Here is the question and answer

Peter Bottomley: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many incidents of (a) fraud and (b) robbery of tourists on the west side of Westminster Bridge there have been in the latest period for which data is available; and if she will make a statement.

Chris Philp: The information is not held in the requested format.
