On Monday I wrote this blog about the debate that took place the week before which was set out by Caroline Lucas and it was a debate that involved MPs from several groups including Conservatives. The title of the section was “Fossil Fuels and Cost of Living Increases”. I also mentioned on Monday that in February there will be a private members Bill on 24th February which is entitled “The Clean Air (Human Rights) Bill” and I pointed out that some aspects of the Clean Air Bill was included in this Early Day Motion that was published by Caroline on the 7th December. Indeed I have printed its text into the blog on Monday. When I was writing on Monday there were 28 other MPs who had endorsed Caroline’s EDM which was modest. The fantastic aspect is that this week there have been 6 more MPs who have added their signatures to the document which is clearly very encouraging and they should be thanked for doing so.
