What to do?

huntsman_3159335bThe decision not to prosecute the hunt in Shropshire that allowed its horses, dogs and riders to travel the wrong way down the A5 on Wednesday is a matter for the Police force concerned. Clearly none of those involved had planned the event and accidents do happen to the best of people. However there are clearly questions that should be asked. In the light of the RSPCA having been criticised last year by MPs for its opposition to the badger cull, has it the capacity to deal with this occurrence in a robust enough fashion. Although the Police are reported as having taken no action, and assuming the right decision was taken not to prosecute the hunt, should some form of restorative justice solution have been sought. What action will the hunt take to ensure this doesn’t happen again? The report was published in the Telegraph here.
