As the week ends its important to ensure that a focus on the issue of stalking does not diminish. I have been involved in a number of discussions over the last six months involving voluntary organisations such as Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Sussex Police. It is clear that whilst the Police are committed to ensuring that they deal with stalking cases in a more effective and robust manner, that they have more work to do. The good news is that they acknowledge this and are keen to work with other agencies so that Sussex can become a safer place for all residents and visitors.
