In the light of the letter from the MP for Daventry to all Universities regarding the courses and lecturers who are teaching on a subject that is of concern to him, perhaps it is time for us to tear up the Parliamentary convention which prevents us from getting a response from an MP other than our own? If Chris Heaton-Harris believes that he can use his Parliamentary headed notepaper to ask a question which it turns out is part of his research for a book, perhaps each of us is entitled to expect all 650 MPs to answer questions irrespective of where we are based and who our local MP is?
