Political incorrectness gone mad!

borisThis report regarding the words of Boris Johnson at a dinner with Spanish businesses and politicians in Bath on 4th November must surely be the straw that will break the back of not just this Governments Camel, but also the Camels of all future Governments during his lifetime. It is vital that he is removed from the Foreign Office as a matter of urgency. If that upsets the Brexiteers on the front and back benches, that is too bad. If Theresa May refuses to sack him, that simply proves that our Government is being organised in a very misguided manner. The idea that a British ‘Statesman’ would tell senior Spanish people that for them to ban bull-fighting is “political correctness gone mad” shows how deeply out of touch he is, not only with the Spanish nation but with the role of a Foreign Office Minister. According to the Foreign Office “The Foreign Secretary was expressing a personal view that he respects this Spanish tradition. However, he does not personally support bullfighting and he is proud the UK upholds the highest in animal welfare standards, including the ban on bullfighting in the UK.” So in other words he wants the Spanish to maintain a much lower standard on animal rights than he believes we should. How offensive can this possibly be?
