Imagine how Churchill would respond?

07.34These tweets shown here captured at 07.34 hrs this morning are a clear indication that not only are we in chaos as a nation as a result of the Labour and Conservative party decisions to withdraw from Europe, but that due to the chaos which the nation is facing, that we are without any tangible form of leadership or opposition. We are in fact in a rudderless nation. The Today programme and PM programmes are only two of a range of important radio and TV programmes that are broadcast most days in our nation, however coming at the beginning and end of each working day they do act as a bellwether for many millions of people. I constantly get frustrated when an issue is debated on one or other of the programmes without a spokesperson for one of the main parties being willing to get involved in the issue. These tweets indicate that because of the challenge we are now facing over Brexit, that we are being denied any real clarity of what is happening. It is hard to imagine Churchill being prevented from speaking by his press officer. Tragically the whole of the Conservative front bench is hiding behind their press office and Labour is playing the same tactics.

We all voted in an advisory referendum and rather than weighing up the issues in an intelligent manner our two main parties acted as if the referendum was a binding one. The failure to show any leadership since June 2016 is dreadful.
