A disturbing post on facebook

CleverleyThe image shown here of a police officer appearing to support a political comment is deeply worrying, bearing in mind that Police Officers are not allowed to get involved in party political matters. There is no indication that the photo is of an actor and the uniform appears to be genuine. What seems most probable is that the image of a serving police officer has been photo-shopped to have the message pasted onto the right hand half of the image. If this was posted by someone who has no public role, it would be unfortunate, for it to be posted by any MP is deeply concerning, bearing in mind it was posted by James Cleverly, deputy Chairman of the Tory Party must come close to an illegal posting. As for the comment on his facebook page, James Cleverly is being disingenuous. Labour apparently opposed the additional funding because the Tories worded it as though it was an increase, rather than a mitigation of even greater cuts, and if cutting (or rather not increasing) funding by £450m puts society at risk, where does that leave the Tories who have cut Billions from Police budgets over the last 8 years?
