Is this your best excuse for saying nothing?

HannanThis tweet from one of my MEPs explains why he does not believe society needs to be trusted with information that even MPs and Lords are forced to see under supervision and after surrendering their mobile phones. The reports that have been prepared by the Government which give regional economic impact scenarios appear to be a great deal more disturbing than the faux analysis that was released under similar security before Christmas that MPs disclosed as being no better than data that exists on Wikipedia. This time those who have read the report are taking a very different line. The truth is that if as Mr Hannan suggests, society had been provided with the data that has only now been put together for MPs and Peers, back in May and June 2016, there would be no need for these reports to be shrouded in so much security. People like Daniel Hannan were elected simply because their parties placed them on the top of the selection list. Even Dan has admitted that in the past. For the Tories not to have at least one MEP elected in the South East is inconceivable, and he is top of their list in the SE. This should place a great responsibility on his shoulders and one could reasonably expect his tweets to read more like a statesman than a used car salesman. Daniel, we got told by you and many on your side of the campaign, back in Summer 2016 that what the Government and Remain campaign claimed were lies and exaggeration. Are you now arguing in denial of this line of argument or are you simply trying to find a reason for society to be denied access to these regional economic reports now? Time to stand up and give us a straight answer before we decide to buy that Brexit car you have on your forecourt or walk away confident that the Remain motor is a better buy, even after we chose to reject it!
