Water water everywhere but in short supply

Water in SEMPs and MEPs are not supposed to be experts in every matter that their constituents or constituencies have to deal with. However they are also not supposed to be so ignorant that they are unaware of problems that these places and people have to face. So when Daniel Hannan who is my MEP tweeted this message on Tuesday it raised the question of how inept he is. After all the shortage of water in the South East of England has for many years been much greater than in many parts of the rest of the World including in parts of Africa. Let us hope that one day Daniel wakes up and smells the dry ground that he is responsible for representing in the European Parliament.
