It is concerning that our Government cannot answer a simple question, given that finding somewhere to display the Bayeaux Tapestry is far less complicated than organising a new ferry system across the Channel or building a garden bridge over the river Thames or even explaining to the nation what our new relationship with the EU will be like, given that a No Deal departure is not credible. Still it is good that Jeremy Wright is happy to promote our relationship with France over the loan of the Tapestry! It is fascinating that this question and answer took place under the theme of Topical Questions yesterday given that we have no clarity of when the tapestry will arrive and we are 953 years away from the battle!
