This comment by Andrew Griffith on Monday is something that needs to be broadcast as despite the many challenges which people have experienced, there has been a great deal of hard work by the Environment Agency in the last few days, and as he points out over the last few months. It is several years since I had the chance to work with the Agency but they deserve our appreciation.

Unfortunately there are other MPs who in the recent past chose to vote against their support and budget to stop flooding. Let us hope the message is finally getting through?
