I am so disappointed that the Fishing Industry is feeling let down

I voted to remain in the EU back in 2016. I confess I had no real view about it from the fishing industry point of view. I also did not feel that the EU is the best thing in the world. However my view was that we had more to gain by remaining in the EU and seeking to reform it than leaving it and somehow believing we would be able to improve our nations economy and indeed our International profile. I still believe we should be part of the EU but that is no change in my view. However these tweets indicate that some other people who voted to leave the EU and who supported Nigel Farage have now changed their minds. How sad they did not know what our departure would really have been like. Let us hope that in due course that either things get much better or else that we get some political leaders willing to recommend that we return to the EU and they seek to do so in a much more positive way than our current Government would be able to do so.
