The loss of Desmond Tutu is very sad and his death this year is not insignificant given the many other deaths that have taken place in 2021 and indeed we have five more days this year so we may get other news. However Desmond Tutu was one of the most significant people in our world and in his nation. His words and indeed his actions were very significant. I hope that following his death that we are able to stand up and begin to follow his actions and his words with our actions and our words as we seek to improve this world from its many challenges that Desmond was willing to speak against and stand up against. It is very clear that he was not a politician and yet he achieved many aspects that sadly many politicians do not achieve.
