The urgent need to help heal pain

ManchesterOn Remembrance Sunday it is very sad to read that our Government has failed to deliver on its promises to Manchester City Council to deliver support for the damage caused by the arena bomber on 22nd May. Although six months is not a long time in the work of Governments, the truth is that a quick response to disasters are what people expect of organisations that claim to be responsive and in touch with ordinary people. It would be good for the Government despite its current layers of chaos to deliver the £17m it promised back in May as a matter of urgency.
