Government should adopt the SNP FareShare policy

FareShareIt is very exciting to read the speech from Aileen Campbell MP, SNP Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government that she made yesterday “In recognition that people have been badly hit by UK Government welfare cuts and in order to protect vulnerable communities against the economic damage of Brexit, last month I announced a further £500,000 investment in FareShare, which will support organisations that are responding to food insecurity.” Let us hope that our Government will now follow Aileens decision and invest several millions in the hard work carried out by the many FareShare schemes across England.
