On Wednesday a West Midlands MP asked the Home Office a question and the first three sentences of the much longer answer appear on the face of things to answer the question that many of us have been calling for, over the last decade. The big question is how honest is Nick Hurd being, given that police numbers and police resources are far lower than they need to be. In the light of this highly dishonest response perhaps it is time to take Nick Hurd to court for lying his way through the question! Indeed I wonder if the Police and Crime Commissioners need to do this as a way of making the changes that are needed in our nation!
