The idea that our departure from the EU will have an impact on flights to Europe is a matter that has been discussed on many occasions and given that Henry is a supporter of Boris who has promised we will leave without a deal and indeed it was stated a few days ago that ‘He’s told the ERG he won’t take prorogation off the table and that he’s signed up to their plan for a ‘managed no-deal’,’ it seems strange that Henry also wants a promise that flight issues will be resolved. Of course to be an MP for Crawley which includes Gatwick Airport, one can understand why flight issues is a major concern. However such matters would surely have been something that would have influenced Henry and his constituents when it came to matters regarding the EU and whether we should remain or depart. Indeed a credible MP would have raised such matters with his constituents at the time. Clearly checking with Chris Grayling and his colleagues is possibly a way of sounding like you are concerned when one assumes there is no prospect of knowing the answer until the 1st of November?
