A great message from one member of Sussex Police

Every day and indeed every 24 hours of each day hundreds of workers for Sussex Police are working incredibly hard to protect the lives of individuals and communities across the whole of Sussex. Of course like every other human managed agency they do make mistakes and somethings do go wrong. However my own experience of observing how they operate is that most of the time they do things the right way and the mistakes are acknowledged and corrected whenever possible very quickly. This tweet is a very inspiring message for the three people and indeed three families that were being impacted by domestic abuse. The challenge for the people who took part in each of these cases is the emotional and sometimes physical impact on them. It would be fantastic if we could clap for them on a regular basis or find some other way of acknowledging all that they do each week. Along with the people who work full time there are also a significant number of volunteer workers who carry out many of the same responsibilities. Thank you Me hdi CF223 and all of your colleagues.
