What will happen today in Parliament?

According to the BBC Boris Johnson is to make his first statement to Parliament since being fined by police for breaking lockdown rules. The prime minister is expected to apologise to MPs after being fined over a birthday gathering at the Cabinet Room in Downing Street in June 2020. His wife and Chancellor Rishi Sunak were also fined over the party. Opposition parties believe Mr Johnson deliberately misled parliament and could push for a vote on this.” It will be very interesting to read what happens – there is no indication that he will be in Parliament today based on the sheet that currently describes what is intended to take place. Let us also hope that there will be a statement from Priti Patel about Rwanda as this clearly needs to be discussed in Parliament.
