Daniel implies we have a President leader

One of the Members of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2020 in our area was Daniel Hannan and he is of course a member of the Conservative Party. He is now a member of the House of Lords and he writes many articles in newspapers in both the UK and in other nations including America. Now of course the fact that we can elect our local MP is well understood by most people. It is also recognised that here in the UK we have a Prime Minister rather than a President. So for the Prime Minister to be determined relies on the party members voting for them. Now that is a vote that only members of a political party can offer. It is certainly true that the voters in Uxbridge and South Ruislip are able to vote for Johnson or for another candidate at the next General Election. However the rest of us do not have that opportunity. Perhaps Daniel could be educated to understand how the UK election process operates? Indeed given his ignorance is it time to remove him from being the adviser to the UK Board of Trade?
