Almost 20 years ago when I was Chairing the YMCA that was based in Hove and which is now called YMCA Downslink Group I had the pleasure of meeting on many occasions the National leader of the YMCA who was Ian Green. He and I both moved away from YMCA’s about 10 years ago but I have kept in touch with him and a few days ago I spotted his name in the Officers of the Order of the British Empire. I am delighted that he has been endorsed and he will presumably meet the King in the next few weeks. Congratulations Ian.
